How's this for..... a phone??

Hey, basically nobody, ummm im writing from my new Sidekick. You know the one with the shells. Anyway, it's new, and how's this for a phone? It has internet, mp3 player, camera, video player, and other things. It's amazing... for a phone. And I guess I deserve it since I have a 92 average in school and it's my birthday, well in 11 days, but still.

How's this for.... a song??

So, we all know Metro Station's semi-new song, Shake It, but what's the message??

If you have listened to that song, not stood on front of your mirror with underwear and bunny slippers and used your brush as a microphone and sang along, but actually listened, you can hear something somewhat inappropriate.

The song says, "Your body's cold, but girl we're getting so warm. And I was thinking of ways that I could get inside. Tonight you're falling in love (let me go now)The feelings stirring me up (here we go now)"

I have some questions for whoever wrote that song.

1. Why are they getting warm?

2. Inside where? Like I don't already know..

3. Tonite? Love? Let me go? -Typical

4. Here we go now??? *tisk* *tisk* *tisk*

Whoever wrote this song is no doubt talking about sex. What else whould get your body warm, which involves 2 people, let a guy get "inside", make a girl fall in love and the guy think of "goodbye", and "Here We Go Now"?? Come on!! This song is on the radio and there are 8 year old girls dancing to it.

*Tisk* *Tisk* Metro Station *Tisk* *Tisk*

How's this for....Life??

How's this for ... a Life ??
You're parents *break-up* when you're two months old.
You're mother is an "exotic dancer" after he's gone.
You live in Whitestone, New York until you're 3.
You're mom is dating an Ecuadorian and gets pregnant.
She gives birth in November.
You still see you're dad on Sunday's for about three hours.
You move to your "new grandmother's" attic in Elmhurst, New York.
You get picked on in school for being fat, when you're 5.
You move to Ridgewood, New York when you're 6.
One day you come home from school and your mom has a black eye,
and other bruises.
Your Ecuadorian stepfather is in jail.
And you move back your "grangmother's" house.
Only this time, it's her basement.
You go back to school and are still getting picked on for being fat at 7 years old.
You're mom starts getting serious about church.
VERY SERIOUS.
Soon you move to Corona, New York.
And by the way your abusive, alcoholic, ecuadorian ex-stepfather is out of jail.
Your mother starts to date the lead singer in the churches band.
You're still getting picked on for being fat, in school.
There are roaches in your corona apartment.
And you finally start to feel okay.
But you remember that something always goes wrong.
You're mother is planning her wedding.
When you're 9 you move to Maspeth, New York.
You're still getting picked on for being fat.
And you have a new stepbrother.
You still see you're father who is in a relationship that is soon to end.
And it's..... Divorce.
So your mom's relationship is still going strong which is surprising.
Finally you're 10 and life sucks.
Fighting and yelling everyday, between everyone.
It keeps going till you're 12.
And finally you become part of that "Emo" scene in junior high.
Depression and cutting.
Then you're mom finds out and so does you're dad, and finally, he cares.
So you try to be positive an you've lost thirty pounds.
Your dad is married with a 2 year old kid, and his wife is 12 years younger than him.
You hate your life and question your purpose, same as the majority of teens.
Your little sister is irritating and her father is in Calilfornia.
Neglecting her and not even caring.
Finally you're turning 13 in 2 weeks and everything is the same.
But getting better.
I guess.
